Applications

We have been producing polyethylene film for coupling for nearly 40 years. Recently, we have begun to specialise in the supply of HDPE to paper bag producers for “sandwich” use, concentrating on the possibility of personalisation and the flexibility of our service.
Why choose our HDPE film for bag makers?

Film for multi-layer paper bags

Double Corona treatment

Our high-density films for paper bags are treated during the production process via a procedure called Corona Treatment, an operation that uses electrostatic discharges that increase the film’s capacity to adhere to the paper, reducing the use of glue and allowing for the usage of low-gram paper without compromising the quality of the final product.

Maximum flexibility on quantities and deliveries

Our service is 100% flexible and adaptable in terms of the materials requested. As a result, we do not set fixed quantities for our orders, and guarantee total punctuality in our deliveries to our clients. Where needed, we can also organise an emergency supply service.

IMQ Certificates for food use

Both our raw materials and our films are certified by the Italian Centre for Certification and Analysis IMQ (Istituto Italiano del Marchio di Qualità) for the packaging of, and contact with, fresh food items such as cheese and cold cuts.
Our films are constantly monitored and analysed to ensure their continued suitability for such use with food. We also carry out global and specific migration tests and sensory valuations, as per various European and extra-European laws.

Our high-density films are entirely personalisable. They are available in various thicknesses, from 7 microns upwards, either smooth or incised.

Our clients’ most Frequently Asked Questions

Can I choose the thickness of the film?
Certainly, since we produce HDPE film of various thickness that can be adapted to our clients’ machinery. All our films are designed to protect and preserve the foods they wrap, maintaining their freshness and flavour.
What materials can be used with the LDPE film?
It can be used with different plastic films or base materials such as PET, PP, cellophane and aluminium. We can manage all manner of requests, while offering the best support possible.
Can I choose the thickness of the film
Certainly, since we produce HDPE film of various thickness that can be adapted to our clients’ machinery. All our films are designed to serve as an effective barrier, creating the maximum thermic isolation and ensuring that the product does not leak out.
Can I choose the thickness of my film?
Certainly, we produce HDPE films of various thicknesses that can be adapted for your machinary. All our products are designed to withstand high temperatures during combination with bitumen, and can be easily flame-sprayed when used.
Why choose the 6-micron film?
For easier application. The 6-micron film is designed to ensure perfect adhesion to the paper during coupling. Its thickness also allows for a greater yield per metre at a lower cost.
Am I tied to a minimum quantity per order?
No, our company bases itself on the speed and quality of our service. We can manage all manner of requests, while offering the best support possible.
Can I buy rollsin other formats?
Yes, we produce HDPE sheets in film, tubular and single-fold formats, in the sheets and thicknesses listed in our product data-sheets. All our films are effective barriers, maximising thermic isolation and ensuring that the product does not leak out.
Can I personalise the film with our logo?
Yes, we use an external company to personalise films with logos as per our clients’ needs. For the printing, we use ink and water, which are less polluting than solvents. This leads to a lower impact on the environment, and is better for the health of the workers who use the combined bitumen.
Can I buy rollsin other formats?
Yes, we produce HDPE sheets in film, tubular and single-fold formats in the sheets and thicknesses listed in our product data-sheets. All our films are designed to protect and preserve the foods wrapped in them, maintaining freshness and flavour.
Am I tied to a minimum quantity per order?
No, our company prides itself on the speed and quality of our service. We can handle all manner of requests, while offering the best support possible.
Why should I choose the 7-micron film?
Because it is easier to apply. The NRCA describes the 7-micron film as the best film in the application-to-membrane phase. It is easily flame-sprayed in less time, leaving less residue. Its thickness also allows for a greater yield per meter at a lower cost.
Am I tied to a minimum quantity per order?
No, our company prides itself on the speed and quality of our service. We can manage all manner of requests, while offering the best support possible.
When should I use the micro-perforated film?
Micro-perforated film is generally used with a thin waterproof membrane that has a low temperature at the moment of usage. The micro-holes aid the exit of air during usage, giving a better aesthetic effect to the membrane. The subsequent flame-spraying also requires less time and the polyethylene residue obtained is branched and fragmented.
When should I use the anonymous film?
The anonymous film is used with a thicker waterproof membrane that has a very high temperature at the moment of coupling during the production process.
The anonymous film attaches easily to hot and thick membranes.
What colours can be printed onto the film?
Currently, our standard production allows for single-colour printing: blue, white or green. But we can also supply film printed in four colours, on request.
Can I get metalized films?
Certainly, we produce metalized HDPE anonymous and printed films. All our films are designed to resist the high temperatures during coupling with the bitumen and can be easily flame-sprayed during application.
How can I resolve the problem of the transfer of the printing onto granulated or slated surfaces?
We have solved this problem for you with an innovative technical solution that prevents transfer of the print. Contact us for further information.
How is the printing on the films carried out?
Our printing uses water-based inks, with a rotogravure on the inside of the coil, followed by Corona treatment of the film.
